Its been a long time since i have last blogged.

Lately, Yiling told me about the Jetstar contest and win a trip to Taipei for 3 days, 2 nights. Since, two of us are taiwan enthusiasts, both of us got really excited over it. We then paired up to be a team and started preparing for our introduction video.

It has been quite some time, that we have prepared our video, thanks to our friends who showed and gave us support, helping us to take photos and videos. With that, we really hope that we can be chosen to participate and travel to Taipei! I will be really glad to travel with Yiling! =)

An Atheist Professor of Philosophy was speaking to his Class on the Problem Science has with GOD, the ALMIGHTY. He asked one of his New Christian Students to stand and . . .

Professor : You are a Christian, aren't you, son ?
Student : Yes, sir. Professor : So, you Believe in GOD ?
Student : Absolutely, sir.
Professor : Is GOD Good ?
Student : Sure.
Professor : Is GOD ALL - POWERFUL ?
Student : Yes.
Professor : My Brother died of Cancer even though he Prayed to GOD to Heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But GOD didn't. How is this GOD good then? Hmm?

(Student was silent )

Professor : You can't answer, can you ?
Let's start again, Young Fella. Is GOD Good?
Student : Yes.
Professor : Is Satan good ?
Student : No.
Professor : Where does Satan come from ?
Student : From . . . GOD . . .
Professor : That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this World?
Student : Yes.
Professor : Evil is everywhere, isn't it ? And GOD did make everything. Correct?
Student : Yes.
Professor : So who created evil ?

(Student did not answer)

Professor : Is there Sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the World, don't they?
Student : Yes, sir.
Professor : So, who Created them ?

(Student had no answer)

Professor : Science says you have 5 Senses you use to Identify and Observe the World around you. Tell me, son . . . Have you ever Seen GOD?
Student : No, sir.
Professor : Tell us if you have ever Heard your GOD?
Student : No , sir. Professor : Have you ever Felt your GOD, Tasted your GOD, Smelt your GOD? Have you ever had any Sensory Perception of GOD for that matter?
Student : No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.
Professor : Yet you still Believe in HIM?
Student : Yes.
Professor : According to Empirical, Testable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student : Nothing. I only have my Faith.
Professor : Yes,Faith. And that is the Problem Science has.

Student : Professor, is there such a thing as Heat?
Professor : Yes.
Student : And is there such a thing as Cold?
Professor : Yes.
Student : No, sir. There isn't.

(The Lecture Theatre became very quiet with this turn of events )

Student : Sir, you can have Lots of Heat, even More Heat, Superheat, Mega Heat, White Heat, a Little Heat or No Heat. But we don't have anything called Cold. We can hit 458 Degrees below Zero which is No Heat, but we can't go any further after that.There is no such thing as Cold. Cold is only a Word we use to describe the Absence of Heat. We cannot Measure Cold. Heat is Energy. Cold is Not the Opposite of Heat, sir, just the Absence of it.

(There was Pin-Drop Silence in the Lecture Theatre )

Student : What about Darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as Darkness?
Professor : Yes. What is Night if there isn't Darkness?
Student : You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the Absence of Something You can have Low Light, Normal Light, Bright Light, Flashing Light . . . But if you have No Light constantly, you have nothing and its called Darkness, isn't it? In reality, Darkness isn't. If it is, were you would be able to make Darkness Darker, wouldn't you?
Professor : So what is the point you are making, Young Man ?
Student : Sir, my point is your Philosophical Premise is flawed.
Professor : Flawed ? Can you explain how?
Student : Sir, you are working on the Premise of Duality. You argue there is Life and then there is Death, a Good GOD and a Bad GOD. You are viewing the Concept of GOD as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, Science can't even explain a Thought. It uses Electricity and Magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view Death as the Opposite of Life is to be ignorant of the fact that Death cannot exist as a Substantive Thing. Death is Not the Opposite of Life: just the Absence of it Now tell me, Professor, do you teach your Students that they evolved from a Monkey?
Professor : If you are referring to the Natural Evolutionary Process, yes, of course, I do. Student : Have you ever observed Evolution with your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shook his head with a Smile, beginning to realize where the Argument was going )

Student : Since no one has ever observed the Process of Evolution at work and Cannot even prove that this Process is an On-Going Endeavor, Are you not teaching your Opinion, sir? Are you not a Scientist but a Preacher?

(The Class was in Uproar )

Student : Is there anyone in the Class who has ever seen the Professor's Brain?

(The Class broke out into Laughter )

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's Brain, Felt it, touched or Smelt it? . .. . No one appears to have done so. So, according to the Established Rules of Empirical, Stable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says that You have No Brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then Trust your Lectures, sir?

(The Room was Silent. The Professor stared at the Student, his face unfathomable)

Professor : I guess you'll have to take them on Faith, son.
Student : That is it sir . . . Exactly !

time to relive my blog.

End of april, packed my lugagge after all the work that i had and headed to Hongkong with my darling girls; shengting, shihui and huiwen. well, it was an eye opener and valuable experience spent there with them. Hongkong is really a "shopping and eating paradise". So, all in all, we spent 7 days 7 nights and 1 day at hk and shenzhen respectively.

buying accessories and shoes at shenzhen is really cheap! Moreover, i got to witness the bargaining skills of our friends. superb man! ahaha so shenzhen was our 1st trip when we reached hk. we spent a full day there with all the manicure and shopping that we did.

as mentioned, so we spent on the next 6 days in hk. we went to several shopping attractions like mongkok where is a shopping area for the girls. really can get lots of clothes and accessories from there. ladies market, temple street, jade street etc. for adventure and leisure wise, we went to Ocean Park, Victoria Peak, Symphony of Light and Avenue of Stars. moving around in hk, we took many forms of transport, taxis, the peak tram, buses, ferries and our most frequent transport which is very convenient, the MTR. we bought the octopus card for travel and purchasing of wife biscuits.

Ocean park's nice rides brought to us by our daring friends; shengting and huiwen. roller coaster rides! ahaha despite that i was so freaked out when im on the high grounds alr! but i have to admit that it was a shiok feeling, the after effect of the roller coaster rides. im sure shengting and huiwen would like to take the rides with us again, cuz shihui and i created the 'high' effects during the rides. we were screaming on top of our lungs! woots! on the same day, with our casual wears, tops and shorts and slippers. we charged our way to the Victoria peak! it was freaking cold, where we shivered. others like the residents or even tourists, were dressed in long sleeves and pants. thinking back, we were daring to be dressed casually to the Peak. night view was mesmerizing, it was a pity that the humid or fog got heavy as it was a high altitude. i will aim for a better camera to capture the nice scenary for my next trip there.

its a pity that we missed some attractions like the stanely market and the fashion street.

talking so much on attractions, not forgetting the food that im always wooing for, such as smelly tofu, the chee chong fun, hot cross bun, cold noodles, the ice cream, irish potato, hk breakfast, famous milk tea and bubble tea etc. i love the food there! oh my! i surely miss the milk tea that i had there. its totally awesome! shall we head to geylang area to try out the smelly tofu!? ahaha the cup noodles for "chu qian yi ding' has its unique flavours and it was delicious with filling ingredients. we ate that for our supper.

time passes fast, with a blink of an eye, tmr will be the graduation ceremony! finally, can meet up with all the girls and gathering sessions. of course, not forgetting to take picsssss! hoho! update soon again! chiaos! =)

i shall be a responsible person to inform all my friends and readers. so here i am to pen down my sayings here.

many things and activities have happened in this holidays. supposedly there are much to blog. however, i had lost the interest or feel to blog. perhaps i cant promise to what my initial purpose of setting this blog.

a piece of advice: people dont come to this blog! nothing is to be expected from this blog. activites update or photos taken will not be uploaded till i really get my holidays back. i will update soon and inform my dear friends! =)

one more week. and this is it. i would like to slack for the last 7 days of my 10 weeks of holidays before the new sem starts. please come soon!

i need some make-over soon! i need to roller blade! alrights! this is random! haha

this song has made its reappearance to this blog. it was posted last year.

now, it serves a different purpose. it can be kept as a memory only.
be it one second, a min or even an hour is enough to make any changes.
lest to say its 1 year. it is more than enough to make changes that are so significant.

as quoted from a korean drama that im catching now.
" life is like a box of chocolates"- different chocolates, they have their different unqiue tastes. it tells a different story.

just imagine, this exquisite box of chocolates was given to you.
you opened it up, picked one. it is a sweet one and was shared between the both of you. later, the box was opened again, your partner chose one for you and had decided to share with you. you had to take it, though how much you do not want to take it. it is a dark chocolate now. it is bitter.

ever since, you never taste the sweetness again. it tastes the same to you. dark chocolate.

you can buy another box of chocolates. it may tatse different. but, the impact will always be remained.

i was advised at that time, "you've got to learn how to take it and let it go." its easier said than done.
